We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure. Our system is built on PHP, JavaScript, Node.js, Docker, and MySQL, and runs on various AWS services, including RDS Aurora MySQL, ECS, ECR, CloudFormation, Load Balancers, S3, Lambda, and CloudWatch. The ideal candidate will focus on cost optimization, performance scaling, and automation to ensure a stable and efficient cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure, including ECS, RDS Aurora, NAT, Route 53, and CloudWatch.
- Improve cost efficiency, focusing on RDS Aurora MySQL and NAT bandwidth usage.
- Maintain and optimize compute instances (Micro EC2 for deployment, ECS tasks, and Lambda for auto-scaling RDS reader nodes).
- Oversee storage solutions, including S3 and EBS, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Automate infrastructure management using CloudFormation, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, security, and reliability.
- Collaborate with developers to optimize deployments and ensure system scalability.
- Maintain and update system architecture documentation.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in AWS DevOps roles.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, including RDS, ECS, ECR, CloudFormation, Lambda, NAT, Load Balancers, and Route 53.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
- Strong expertise in cost optimization and performance tuning on AWS.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch and logging best practices.
- Experience working with PHP, Node.js, and MySQL environments is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with Chromeless automation.
- Knowledge of security best practices for AWS infrastructure.
